Terms of Use
Effective: 17 April 2026
These terms govern your use of the dpoas.co.il website and the consulting services offered from it. Please read them carefully. By using the site you agree to be bound by them.
At a glance. DPOas is an Israeli privacy-compliance consultancy operated by a sole proprietor (עוסק מורשה). By using this website you agree to these terms. We do not give legal advice. We respect your privacy and do not train AI models on your data. Your statutory consumer rights — in Israel and in the EU — always apply and are not reduced by anything you read here.
1.Who we are
This website is operated by Yona Schwebel, an Israeli sole proprietor and VAT-registered business (עוסק מורשה), trading as "DPOas". In these terms, "DPOas", "we", "us" and "our" refer to that business. "You" means the person accessing the site.
2.What you're agreeing to
By continuing to browse, contact us, request a consultation, or otherwise use dpoas.co.il, you confirm that you have read, understood and accepted these terms together with our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please stop using the site.
3.What we do — and don't do
DPOas provides DPO-as-a-Service and related privacy-compliance consulting. Information on this website, including anything generated with the help of AI features, is for general information only. It is not legal advice, and using the site does not create a lawyer–client relationship. Always check material decisions with qualified counsel.
4.Using the site responsibly
When using dpoas.co.il, you agree not to:
- break the law or infringe anyone's rights (including privacy, data-protection, and intellectual-property rights);
- upload or transmit material that is unlawful, harmful, deceptive, defamatory, harassing, or malicious (for example, malware);
- probe, scan or attempt to breach the site's security, or access accounts that aren't yours;
- scrape, copy or reuse the content of this site for commercial purposes without our written permission;
- misrepresent AI-generated content as human-generated in a way that would mislead a third party.
We may remove content or restrict access if we reasonably believe it breaches these terms or the law.
5.Your content and your data
Anything you own stays yours. If you submit content through the site, you grant DPOas the limited rights needed to host, display and operate the site for you. We do not sell your personal data and we do not use your content to train generally available AI models. How we handle personal data is set out in our Privacy Policy. If we provide paid consulting services to you, the specific terms of our engagement will be recorded in a separate written engagement letter.
6.Intellectual property
The site — including its design, text, graphics, logos and software — is owned by DPOas or our licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark and other laws. You may view it for your own information and share links to public pages. Any other use requires our prior written permission.
7.Third-party links
The site may link to third-party resources. Those are provided for convenience; we don't control them and aren't responsible for their content, accuracy or availability.
8.No warranties; limits on liability
The site and any free features are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, DPOas disclaims all implied warranties and does not guarantee that the site will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, DPOas will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special or exemplary damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, goodwill or data. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded — including for fraud, wilful misconduct, or personal injury.
9.Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If a change is material, we will give at least 30 days' notice on the site or by email before it takes effect. Continued use of the site after the effective date means you accept the updated terms.
10.Consumer rights (Israel and EU)
Nothing in these terms reduces rights you have as a consumer under the Israeli Consumer Protection Law 5741-1981, the Israeli Standard Contracts Law 5743-1982, or — where you are resident in the EU or EEA — under Directive 2011/83/EU and your local law. EU and Israeli consumers typically have a 14-day cancellation right for paid online services; to exercise that right, please contact us at info@dpoas.co.il.
11.Governing law and courts
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel. Subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rules that apply to you, the competent courts of Tel Aviv-Jaffa have exclusive jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident in the EU or EEA, you retain the protection of mandatory rules of the law of your country of habitual residence and may also bring proceedings there.
12.Contact
Please include a descriptive subject line — for example, "Privacy request", "Security report" or "DSA notice" — so we can route your message correctly.
